Im assuming that that is how I install the driver. Inside of the disc there is a folder called Linux. The next thing I did was try to reinstall the driver. With the card I have a disc for the wireless LAN card to install. I tried unloading and reloading the module, but I still wasn't able to get a wireless network interface in my /dev. I thought the issue might be the driver, but sure enough the rt61pci module was listed when I did an lsmod (although this is also strange because the module was called rt61 before the reinstall). There is no wlan or wlan0 device in my /dev directory. However, after the install I was unable to connect to my wireless network. No worries, I thought, I'll just install over ethernet. It started when I ran the net installer and it couldn't find my wireless card. My wireless card is a Ralink with an rt61 driver. I'm running Lenny on a Pentium 3 Dell with a 2.6.26 kernel.
